Welcome to Sugarloaf Lions Club
Serving Delgany, Greystones, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue, Kilquade, Newcastle, NewtownmountKennedy and Roundwood since 1968
Sugarloaf Lions Club has been serving the community of North East Wicklow since 1968 (including Greystones, Kilcoole, Newcastle, Delgany, Kilmacanogue, Kilquade, Roundwood and Newtown Mount Kennedy and surrounding areas). We strive to keep improving the lives of everyone in our community, whether that involves working with other local charities to fundraise for larger projects, or helping local individuals and families in need, as we do with our annual food appeal. The Lions Club is an apolitical, secular organisation and is here to help anyone in need.
We are a service organisation of about 25 men and women. We meet twice a month, on the second and fourth Mondays of the month and our meetings are usually held in the Horse and Hound Hotel, Delgany. For more information on the range of projects we have been and are currently involved in please keep reading.
Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That’s because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.
