St Patrick's Day Parade 2025

Sugarloaf Lions Cub once again took part in the St Patrick’s Day Parade 2025 in Greystones.This year’s theme “Legends of Ireland”, celebrated iconic figures from both local and national heritage.. The parade featured a diverse lineup, including local sports clubs, dance schools, marching bands and pop-up busking musicians along the route, adding to the lively atmosphere.

Sugarloaf Lions had a model of the Sugarloaf Mountain on their float and were ably assisted by students from Greystones Community College.

We were honoured to receive the Best Social/Cultural Entry in the parade and are pictured accepting the award in the Municipal Buildings.
